When we say “Company”, “we”, “our”, or “us” in this document, we are referring to Leah AI, Inc., which trades as Selja Health. When we say “this website”, we mean seljahealth.com and its contents. When we say “you” or “your”, we are referring to the people and organizations who visit it.
We may update these Terms in the future. Whenever we make a significant change, we will refresh the date at the top of this page. When you use this website, now or in the future, you are agreeing to the latest Terms. There may be times where we do not exercise or enforce a right or provision of the Terms; however, that does not mean we are waiving that right or provision. These Terms do contain a limitation of our liability.
What this website is
Selja is a research program in validation. It is not available for clinical use. Nothing on this website is medical advice, and nothing on it is intended to guide the care of any patient. Do not rely on anything here in making a clinical decision, and do not treat any part of this website as a substitute for professional medical judgment or for the standard of care at your institution.
Regulatory status. Selja has not been reviewed, cleared, or approved by the United States Food and Drug Administration or by any other regulatory authority, and it is not offered for the diagnosis, cure, mitigation, treatment, or prevention of any disease or condition. It is under research validation and is not available for clinical use. Nothing on this website is an offer to sell, or a solicitation to buy, a product for clinical use, and nothing on it should be read as a representation that any such product is available or will become available.
No medical advice, and no clinical relationship. The content of this website is general information about a research program. It is not medical advice, it is not a clinical protocol, and it is not a substitute for the judgment of a qualified health care professional or for the standard of care, policies, and transfer criteria of your institution. Using this website does not create a physician-patient relationship, a consulting relationship, or a professional relationship of any kind between you and the Company. If you are dealing with a medical emergency, stop reading this website and follow your institution’s emergency procedures, or call your local emergency number.
No reliance. Do not use anything on this website to make, delay, or support a decision about the care of any patient, including any decision about whether, when, or where to transfer a patient. Illustrations of the system’s reasoning that appear on this website (including any timelines, patient figures, specimen outputs, and confidence statements) are illustrative of a system in validation. They are not the output of a deployed product, they are not drawn to real times or real cases, and they are not clinical guidance. You are solely responsible for any clinical decision you make, and the responsible clinician retains that responsibility in every case.
Research claims. Statements on this website about cohort sizes, study sites, validation activity, and what the system is expected to do describe work in progress. They are not peer-reviewed results, they are not performance claims, and they are not a promise of any particular outcome, accuracy, or benefit. Results of the validation work will be reported through the channels clinicians already use, and until they are, nothing here should be treated as a finding.
Intellectual property
The Company or its licensors own all right, title, and interest in and to the content, design, and original code of this website, including all intellectual property rights therein, and you obtain no ownership rights in it as a result of your use. Subject to the paragraph below, you may not duplicate, copy, or reuse the original HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or visual design elements without express written permission from the Company. You must request permission to use the Company’s logos for promotional purposes. Please email us requests to use logos. We reserve the right to rescind any permissions if you violate these Terms.
Third-party and open-source components. This website is built with open-source software and set in open-licensed typefaces, which the Company does not own. Nothing in this section restricts, and nothing in it is intended to restrict, any right you have under the licenses those components are distributed under. Where a component carries its own license, that license governs it and this section does not.
Except as those licenses permit, you agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any portion of this website without the express written permission of the Company.
Advisors, affiliations, and third-party names
This website names individuals who advise the Company and, for each, identifies the institution where they hold or have held an appointment. Those affiliations are stated for identification only. They describe where a person works; they do not mean that the institution endorses, sponsors, funds, supervises, or is otherwise affiliated with the Company or with Selja, and no such endorsement or affiliation should be inferred from them. Each advisor has agreed to advise the Company in their individual capacity, and does so on their own behalf rather than on behalf of their institution. Any views an advisor expresses are their own and are not those of their employer.
Institution names, program names, consortium names, trade names, trademarks, and logos belonging to third parties remain the property of their respective owners and are used on this website only to identify those parties accurately. Their appearance here is not a claim of partnership, joint venture, agency, or commercial relationship with the Company, and it is not a claim that those parties have reviewed or approved anything on this website. Where the Company conducts research with an institution, that research relationship is what is described and nothing more.
If you are an individual or an institution named on this website and you would like that reference corrected or removed, please email us and we will act on it promptly.
No guarantees
We design this website with care, based on our own experience and the experiences of people who share their time and feedback. However, there is no such thing as a service that pleases everybody. We make no guarantees that this website will meet your specific requirements or expectations.
As with any software, this website inevitably has some bugs. We track the bugs reported to us and work through priority ones, especially any related to security or privacy. Not all reported bugs will get fixed and we don’t guarantee a completely error-free website.

Governing law and venue
These Terms, and any dispute arising out of them or out of your use of this website, are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. You and the Company agree that the state and federal courts located in the State of Delaware have exclusive jurisdiction and venue over any such dispute, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
Nothing in these Terms takes away a right you have under the mandatory consumer protection law of the place where you live, and nothing in them requires you to bring a claim somewhere that law does not allow.
If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable, it is to be enforced to the greatest extent the law allows, and the rest of these Terms remain in effect.
